MCS also offer an upholstery cleaning service. We can clean most fabrics, and our process is similar to that is used in our carpet cleaning procedure, a specialised hand tool is used as only a thin piece of fabric is to be cleaned.
The hand tool cleans across the fabric instead of the solution being fired directly into it, this prevents the possibility of stuffers and fillers becoming wet resulting in possible re-soiling, lengthy drying times and other problems.
First we inspect the furniture, assessing it so we can let you know what to expect from the cleaning result. Next we remove all dry soil through vacuuming; we then pre-condition the fabric to let our natural cleaning agents emulsify the dirt and stains.
We follow this with a textile rinse and extraction, using the specialized hand tool to thoroughly remove the soil and moisture, if needed we can use high powered air dryers to accelerate drying times .
Finally we will use an upholstery brush to groom and leave the fabric looking like new.
